Annual Reports
Each financial year QPP compiles an annual report which gives an overview on our activities, successes and projects throughout the period and images of some of our team and events. Reconciliation Action Plan
QPP’s ‘Innovate’ Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) was endorsed by Reconciliation Australia and launched in April 2025, which followed our ‘Reflect’ Reconciliation Action Plan endorsed and launched in March 2023. Use the links below to lean more.
Recent Publications and Resources
QPP’s position and research conducted by professionals at QPP and affiliated organisations and individuals, will appear in the section. These might include Discussion Papers, Journal Submissions, and other research or advocacy related reporting. These are circulated widely to the community, to other specialists in the sexual health sector and beyond, so that QPP’s position on a particular matter or the results of research, receive prompt and thorough professional scrutiny.

2026-2031 Strategic Plan
Co-design, co-creation and collaboration are central to QPP’s ways of working. We place the voice of our clients and communities at the centre of our organisation and collaborate to design and deliver community and services. This way of working is deeply rooted in our values and allows us to understand and respond to the diversity of needs and priorities of people living with HIV and affected communities across Queensland. HIV Disclosure Guide
This guide contains the relevant law on disclosure of HIV status as it applies in Queensland (as at July 2025). It contains information on when to disclose in relation to employment, insurance, sex & relationships and more. It has been prepared by the HIV/AIDS Legal Centre (HALC) in partnership with, and funded by Queensland Positive People (QPP).

Living Positive Queensland Report
In Brief: Living Positive in Queensland: the experience of ageing and social isolation for people living with HIV Context This report presents insights from ‘Living Positive in Queensland’ (LPQ), a longitudinal qualitative study (2013-2020) that began with 73 participants living with HIV across Queensland. LPQ was conceived and designed in partnership with community-based HIV organisations and PLHIV to increase understanding of the lived experiences of people with HIV, to inform and improve HIV service provision.
