Community Advisory Group

About The QPP Community Advisory Group

As a peer-based organisation Queensland Positive People (QPP) recognises the centrality of the positive voice and values the importance of the lived experience of HIV.  All that we do at QPP is underpinned by the principles of Greater Involvement of People with HIV and/or AIDS (GIPA).

GIPA principles recognises that people with HIV are integral and central to the HIV response. GIPA values PLHIV as a valuable resource providing lived experience and knowledge to help inform the design, implementation and evaluation of programs and services.

The Community Advisory Group (CAG) seeks to engage with the diverse community of people with HIV across Queensland and to provide a platform through which individual and collective voices can be heard. The CAG assists QPP to identify current and emerging community needs, and establish strategic priorities in service delivery, advocacy, health education and information.

Expressions of Interest for the CAG are currently closed.

All submissions will be considered for when there is a vacancy in the group.
