Our mission
At Queensland Positive People we value Diversity, Equity, Quality, Freedom, Empathy, and Belonging. We bring these to every aspect of the work that we do.
Our mission is to improve the quality of life of people living with HIV,
and help reduce new transmissions of HIV and STIs.
We provide programs and services including peer support and navigation, peer HIV/STI prevention and testing, HIV treatment and management, together with support and advocacy around stigma and discrimination, and community education. In short, we help people live well with HIV.
We strive to ensure our services are inclusive, innovative, equitable, and informed by people living with HIV. We aim to empower and strengthen resistance, and are committed to reconciliation.
