Queensland Positive People (QPP) has opportunities for community leaders to bring their expertise and perspectives to important positions on our board: a Regional Representative/Ordinary Board Member and a Special Advisor. There roles offer the opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of people living with HIV in Queensland and steer the direction of QPP into the future.
Regional Representative/Ordinary Board Member
This position is for someone who lives with HIV residing in Queensland, and has a passion for their community. You’ll bring your lived experience and, ideally, previous leadership or board experience to the table. As a member of the QPP Board, you’ll guide the organisation’s future, helping QPP deliver vital services, advocate for rights, and build an inclusive community.
Special Representative
We’re looking for an experienced leader with a strong grasp of governance and financial oversight. This position, which can be filled by someone living with HIV or a supportive ally residing in Queensland, is a chance to use your expertise to help with strategic direction, sound financial management, and accountability.
Ready to get on (the) board?
Both positions require a 1-2 year commitment and can be filled on a voluntary basis or with remuneration. Your contributions will directly support QPP’s mission to improve the lives of people living with HIV, reduce new transmissions, and advocate for the community.
