Mpox is still around

We want to keep you in the loop, there have been a small number of recent Mpox cases across Queensland. Your health and wellbeing are our top priority.

Firstly, a big shoutout to all of you who have already gotten vaccinated! Your efforts are making a huge difference in protecting you and the community.

If you haven’t been fully vaccinated yet, now’s a great time to do so. Vaccination is free and there are good supplies of Mpox vaccine in Queensland. Vaccination is our best defence against Mpox!

Remember, Mpox can affect anyone, so it’s important to stay informed and take preventive steps. Here’s what you can do:

  • Get Vaccinated: If you haven’t finished your vaccine course, check if you’re eligible and where you can get it done. It’s quick and effective!
  • Keep an eye out: Know what ther symptoms are.
  • Stay Informed: Follow updates from reliable health sources.
  • Good Hygiene: Wash your hands regularly and avoid close contact with people who are sick.
