Yes? Perhaps The HOPE Fund can help.
The Hats Off Positive Endeavour (HOPE) Fund was established on 01 February 2006 by co-founders David Bermingham and Simon O’Connor, to provide support to people living with HIV (PLHIV) in Queensland, who are in need. The Fund provides small grants of goods and services to PLHIV, who are experiencing financial hardship, have a demonstrated material need and/or are looking to improve their lives.
If you meet the application criteria, The HOPE Fund may be able to assist you with:
- Essential Household Goods such as a washing machine, refrigerator etc.
- Services such as one-off repairs by a professional to goods/equipment (not including items requiring regular service) such as damaged light on vehicle.
- Education/Training such as TAFE courses, study/skills development including driving licenses, study aids e.g. textbooks.
