The HOPE Fund
Do you have dreams of studying but just don’t have the funds?
Has your washing machine broken down and you can’t afford a new one?
Yes? Perhaps The HOPE Fund can help.
The Hats Off Positive Endeavour (HOPE) Fund was established on 01 February 2006, to provide support to people living with HIV (PLHIV) in Queensland, who are in need. The Fund provides small grants of goods and services to PLHIV, who are experiencing financial hardship, have a demonstrated material need and/or are looking to improve their lives.
If you meet the application criteria, The HOPE Fund may be able to assist you with:
- Goods – e.g. washing machine, refrigerator, return to work or study aids eg. textbooks
- Services – e.g. one-off repairs to goods or equipment, not including items requiring regular servicing
- Personal Development – e.g. training, TAFE courses, study and skills development
