Thrive Together – HIV & Wellness Workshop 1

About Event
Managing Stress & Emotional Wellbeing
Living with HIV can bring a unique mix of challenges—but it also reveals our strength, resilience, and resourcefulness. One of the most common challenges people talk about is stress. Whether it’s related to health, relationships, stigma, or daily life, stress can affect how we feel, think, and connect with others.
This workshop is a gentle guide to understanding stress and exploring ways to manage it—in ways that are safe, practical, and kind to yourself.
All participants will be asked to complete a short PozQoL survey before and after the workshop series. PozQoL is a research-based tool that measures wellbeing, social connection, and quality of life for people living with HIV.
What You Can Expect at the Workshops:
-
- Peer-led, inclusive, and confidential group sessions
- Guest speakers with lived or clinical experience
- Strategies to support your identity, wellbeing, and mental health
- Resources you can take home and apply in your daily life
Travel support is available — just let us know in advance if you’d like assistance.
Proudly supported with funding from the Lord Mayor’s Charitable Trust, these workshops are designed for people living with HIV and will support mental wellbeing, reduce stigma, and strengthen peer connection in a culturally safe and professionally supported space.
