About Event

Take the opportunity on National Close the Gap Day to come together in our workplaces and communities to share information and most importantly, to take meaningful action in support of achieving Indigenous health equality. Since 2006, the Close the Gap campaign has raised awareness about the 17-year life expectancy gap between Indigenous and non-Indigenous Australians.
We celebrate the resilience, innovation and success of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and pledge to continue to work with them to Close the Gap.
