About Event
For our Multicultural Group this month we are holding a “Una Fiesta Latina” to support NAPWHA‘s Community Conversation with our Spanish and Portuguese speaking communities. We’re meeting in our 21 Manilla St courtyard on Friday 18th June from 5:30pm onwards and BYO latin inspired food (tacos, nachos, empanadas, feijoada for some ideas). Even if you’re not from a Latin background but want to enjoy some different food and connect with others in our community then please feel free to come along. At 6:30pm those of us who speak Spanish or Portuguese and want to be involved can head upstairs to join the nationwide zoom call. Our Multicultural group is open to all, however it is a primarily a safe space for international students or newcomers to Australia where language is no barrier. Come and meet new people, share culture, stories and have fun!

- Confidentiality: Details of the social group or training activity are not to be discussed outside of the group event.
- Prohibition of sexual solicitation: Social groups, Better Connect+ events, or training activities are not spaces for seeking sexual connections or casual hook-ups.
- Adherence to host or trainer directions: Follow the guidance provided by the social group host or trainer.
- Alcohol and drug-Free environment: Acknowledge that all social groups, Better Connect+ events, and training activities are alcohol and drug-free environments.
- Consent: By completing this form, I understand that all information about me will be kept confidential and only used to provide information to me. Queensland Positive People will share information if they are required by law to do so.
