About our RAPID HIV/STI testing program

The RAPID HIV/STI Testing Clinic is QPP’s free walk-in only clinic for sexual health testing. We’re run by members of your community, not doctors or nurses.

We provide fast, reliable asymptomatic testing for HIV, syphilis, chlamydia, and gonorrhoea. You’ll get your results in 20 minutes for HIV and syphilis, and typically in a couple of days for chlamydia and gonorrhoea.

For those experiencing STI related symptoms, you can make an appointment with our Nurse Practitioner Clinic that can provide assessment, testing, and treatment. You can find out more about what this clinic offers here.

You can ask our RAPID team about anything at all to do with sexual health and wellbeing, without judgement. If we don’t know the answer, we will point you in the direction of a great doctor or health professional that can.

Our discreet Fortitude Valley testing clinic is located at Level 1, 725 Ann Street. We’re open Tuesday – Saturday. We don’t take appointments, just walk in.

Outreach Testing

We realise that sometimes visiting a clinic can be difficult for some, which is why RAPID operates walk-in testing at Wet, a sex-on-premises venues in Brisbane.

HIV Self Test Kits

If you don’t live near us, or you’d prefer to test privately, you can order a home test. You’ll receive the simple kit discreetly in the mail.
