Get ready for an unforgettable Belly Dance Class to celebrate National Day of Women Living with HIV!
This is your chance to shake, shimmy, and groove to the beat in a fun, high-energy, beginner-friendly workout! Whether you’re new to dance or just looking for a good time, this class will have you moving and feeling amazing.
National Day of Women Living with HIV is all about celebrating the incredible strength and resilience of women and girls living with HIV. It’s a day to raise awareness, reflect on progress, and continue supporting each other on our journeys.
Dance Theme: “A Decade of Progress and Challenges”
We’re dancing to celebrate a decade of progress, while honouring the challenges that women with HIV still face. Get ready to unleash your inner dancer and be part of something special!
What to Expect:
- 9:30 AM Our community host will lead a workshop where you’ll make your own scarves to dance with, adding a personal touch to your movements.
- 11:00AM A super fun, energizing belly dance workout that will have you feeling empowered
- 12:30PM Light refreshments to keep you fueled
- Please wear comfortable fitness wear and bring a towel
- Bring a friend and double the fun!

- Alcohol and drug-Free environment: Acknowledge that all social groups, Better Connect+ events, and training activities are alcohol and drug-free environments.
- Consent: By completing this form, I understand that all information about me will be kept confidential and only used to provide information to me. Queensland Positive People will share information if they are required by law to do so.
