Art in our Garden – Multicultural Social Group @ QPP

Come join the Multicultural Social Group for a picnic and art activities, now at 21 Manilla St, East Brisbane.  RSVP for more details.

The Multicultural Social Group welcomes all CALD and migrant people living with HIV.  Other individuals who want to meet new friends and share stories are most welcome to join too. The group is a safe space to connect for those PLHIV on temporary visas including international students, holidays workers, some bridging visas, etc. alongside individuals who are Medicare Ineligible and may have difficulty navigating health systems and other services.

HALC & QPP Legal Clinic – Virtual Sessions @ Online via Zoom

QPP and the team at HIV AIDS Legal Centre (HALC) are running a series of legal clinics and evenings, providing our community information about HIV and the Law in Queensland, and answering questions to those living with HIV with legal questions or issues.
𝗜𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗮 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰 𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗮𝗹 𝗾𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗿 𝗶𝘀𝘀𝘂𝗲, 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗯𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗮 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝘀𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗛𝗔𝗟𝗖𝘀 𝘀𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺.
Areas of law covered include Criminal, Immigration, Discrimination (on the grounds of HIV status or another attribute e.g. sexuality, gender identity, mental health condition), Tenancy, Employment, or Family law. Sessions are open to people living with HIV, currently residing in Queensland.
𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗯𝗲 𝗩𝗶𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗹 (𝗢𝗻𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲/𝗭𝗼𝗼𝗺) 𝘀𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗱 𝗼𝗻 𝗠𝗮𝘆 𝟮𝟱, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗜𝗻 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗮𝘁 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗮 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗲𝘁 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗻 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗲 𝟭𝟬.
