Volunteer with us

ARE YOU looking for an opportunity to be inspired and come together with like-minded people who are committed to making a difference in their global and local communities?

ARE YOU ready to feel more empowered in your day-to-day life, relationships and career?

“Everybody can be great because anybody can serve. You don’t have to have a college degree to serve… You don’t have to know the second theory of thermodynamics in physics to serve. You only need a heart full of grace. A soul generated by love,” Martin Luther King Jr.

How can I help?

Queensland Positive People knows first-hand just how powerful one person can be, but more importantly, the positive impact created when you are one of many who come together to partner with communities and become part of their solution.

If you are enthusiastic, dependable, friendly, out-going and are genuinely interested in people, you may be just what we are looking for.  Become part of an organisation making a big difference in the community.

Volunteers come from all walks of life to join the Queensland Positive People team.  Here you can work with dynamic people, from whom you can gain knowledge and develop your own professional and personal skills.  Volunteers are an important part of the team, and we welcome their involvement and enthusiasm.

People volunteer for many different reasons: work experience to compliment their studies, to learn about the HIV experience, to gain important experience to further their careers, or just for the personal satisfaction of their efforts.

There are many benefits to volunteer work. It’s a great way to show potential employers that you are hard-working and dedicated to giving back to the community, but also to simply make a valuable contribution to the community. You will also learn more about people and HIV.  On top of all these reasons, it’s a fun and rewarding way to spend your free time.

There are no other volunteer positions available at the moment.  We will post new positions and induction training schedule once they are established.

“How wonderful it is that nobody need wait a single moment before starting to improve the world,” Anne Frank.
